MALE: Frontal region of the prosome with 2 distinct papilla. Geniculated left antennule 23 segmented and a knee joint is seen between 18th &19th segment. Exopod of antenna 8 segmented and endopod 2 segmented. Mandibular blade bifurcated, inner tooth carries 2 small indistinct spines and 1 small inner spine. First inner lobe of maxillule with 6 setae 2 of which are spiniform, second inner lobe with 1 and 3rd with 10 setae, outer lobe carries 6 long and 3 small setae, endopod 1 segmented and carries 4 setae. 5th and 6th lobes of maxilla bear one strong spine each. Maxilliped elongated and bears richly plumose setae. Coxa of left leg 5 with a strong and curved inner spine; basis of both sides with 1 seta; setation of both endopod segments are same on both sides, segment 1 naked, 2 and 3 with 1 and 6 setae respectively; exopod 1 of left leg with 1 marginal spine and 1 glandular pore, segment 2 with 1 middle spine and 2 glandular pores, segment 3 with 1 middle spine 2 glandular pores, and 2 terminal spines, one 2.5 times longer than the other. Exopod segment of right leg with 1 marginal spine and 2 glandular pores. Segment 2 with 1 distal spine and 2 glandular pores, the inner margin of the segment is extended inside like a conical protrusion, exopod segment 3 with a long and serrated proximal spine, 2 terminal spines, one 3 times longer than the other and 2 glandular pores. FEMALE: Not recorded from the Indian Ocean.
